ABOUT THAT MEXICAN OT

Emerging from Texas in 2020, That Mexican OT started releasing music, including his self released debut mixtape, South Texas Project. In 2021, the rapper released two more mixtapes, Southside Steppin and 1 Double O, under the label the Manifest Music Group. The following year, That Mexican OT made his major label debut with Nonsense and Mexican Shit, his first record to be distributed under Interscope Records. He would later make his highly awaited breakout with “Johnny Dang,” a single spawned from his debut album Lonestar Luchador. The single entered the Billboard Hot 100 and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, peaking at number 65 and 19. Johnny Dang would later earn platinum status in the US, his biggest hit to date. The album would also make it into several “best of” lists by music authorities such as Rolling Stone, Billboard Complex, The New York TImes, Pitchfork, and tons more. That Mexican OT released his latest single “Baby Mad at Me” featuring Lil Wayne in 2025. The song charted at number 35 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Songs.
